BizTalk RFID Data Services is a WCF based RESTful service that queries over BizTalk RFID artifacts. BizTalk RFID Data Services provides a Restful OData – based API to interact with the BizTalk RFID resources via HTTP using ATOM Publishing Protocol or JSON as the encoding mechanism. In this release we are providing the capability on the browsing, querying and searching BizTalk RFID artifacts (Process, Devices, Device Groups, Device Providers etc) via a Restful interface.

In addition to that we provide the functionality to manage Process & Devices such as starting and stopping via the IUpdatable implementation of WCF Data Services and doing the same with the Service Operations feature of WCF Data Services. BizTalk RFID Data Services can be used in BizTalk 2006 R2/2009 & 2010.
